Access to the church - please note that there are steps up to the church (with a handrail) but at present we are sorry but there is no ramp access. We are hoping to resolve this issue in the future but in the meantime if you would like further information about access to the church please email [email protected]. Please be aware that there are no toilet facilities at St Mary Magdalene.

From the centre of Bath or Bristol
- Make your way to Bath Racecourse.
- There are two entrances to the racecourse, in between these is a turning signposted to Langridge.
- Follow this narrow lane as it drops down steeply towards Langridge Church.
- After approx 0.75 miles there is a sharp right hand bend, keep on going.
- In another 0.25 miles you will see an entrance to a farm on your left, there is a small car park on your right, opposite the driveway of Court Farm, where you can park or you can keep on going.
- Very shortly afterwards you will see a small lay-by on your left - you can park here and the church is clearly visible just a few yards further down the lane on your left (there is only space here for 6 cars).

Directions from the A46 via Tadwick
- Approx. 1.2 miles from the Cold Ashton roundabout (if coming from the North of Bath) or 3.1 miles from the London Road roundabout (if coming from the South of Bath) there is a turning to Tadwick; take this lane and follow it as it twists down a long hill towards the village of Tadwick making sure that you bear sharp left at the bottom of the hill.
- After approx. 0.5 miles you'll come into the hamlet of Tadwick, keep on going as the road winds along the valley.
- After another 0.75 miles you'll reach the bottom of the valley and there will be a turning on your right just before the stone walled barn of Ashcombe Farm. Take this turning
- Continue along the narrow lane which will soon start climbing back up the hill.
- After approx. 0.5 miles you will see the church on your right-hand side (behind a wall and above you)
- Very shortly afterwards you will see a small lay-by on your right — you can park here (there is only space here for 6 cars), but if you continue a little further up you will find a small car park on your left, opposite the driveway of Court Farm.

Travelling from Bath via Swainswick
- Travel along the London Road out of Bath and at the roundabout, take the first exit up the A46, heading towards the motorway.
- Take the first turning on the left just past the speed camera.
- Immediately take the turning on the right signposted Woolley and Langridge.
- Take the left fork through the village and follow the road into the valley.
- Ignore the turning on the left towards Woolley and continue your descent into the bottom of the valley.
- Ashcombe House will be on your right, continue past this and then on your left at the bottom of the hill you will see the stone building, Ashcombe Farm, which has a postbox in its wall.
- Turn left at this junction.
- Continue along the narrow lane which will soon start climbing back up the hill.
